We all have destinations that have been established by God. Sometimes, being who we are, we create those destinations ourselves. The outcomes of those destinations can be uplifting and empowering, but at times, they can be detrimental and failing. The destination that God has for your life is only set for you.
As the person in my life has new destinations set for her to accomplish, sometimes she does not reach her destinations because of her failures: the alarm clock did not go off, the lack of time management, staying up too late, not being able to get up on time, or whatever variables may have been set to cause her not to reach her destination for that day. You know what I am speaking about, we have all been there and some still are. So, be mindful of who you are, what is ahead of you in your day, the destinations you must touch, and the achievements that are due to be reached. Setting yourself up to be successful through God’s help is what one must do every day, including myself.
Some destinations that we set out to accomplish were not instrumented by God. Therefore, we may reach them, or we may not. When we reach those destinations that we have set for ourselves without asking if this is a true will of you, God, in our lives, we may falter when we reach that destination we reached. We find that it may not be as joyous as we expected it to be, it may not be as uplifting as we wanted it to be, we may not even have joy in whatever that thing is as we thought it was the destination we were to reach.
With all that being said, let’s keep God first in whatever we are setting out to do. Whatever we seek in what we call our destination for the day, the week, the month, the year, always go to God first, always look to Him for your guidance, your opportunity, and your variance, look for that in God. But be sure for yourself that you follow what God says to you.
As you get into your quiet space, as you get into your quiet place, listen to what God has to say about your destinations. We all have places to go, we all have things to do, but be sure that whatever it is for you, God is at the forefront of reaching whatever that destination drop-off place is going to be. You are the greatest and the apple of God’s eye, so allow your next destination to be set with God as your driver as you seek to be, and go do all of those things He has set just for you. Stay calm, be uplifted, relax, and breathe wherever you are at your destinations. Keep God first! Until next time, take care… PEACE!
