Life is filled with ups and downs, ins and outs, and uncertainty surrounding who you are, what you are doing, and about how you seek to uplift your life. However, God is always in control. As I struggled with some thoughts and actions concerning who I believe I am, and the spiritual talents that God has given me, I wondered how I was going to continue to use those talents and share them with others. When I reached a point of giving up, I then had to realize within myself, as I spend so much time with God, that it is not about others, it is about myself. It is about all the things that God gives me, all the opportunities He allows me to have, and the road that He has prepared just for me.
God has prepared a road for you as well, and a way to help you navigate it. He has provided opportunities to help you live your life to the fullest, and access to all of the possibilities of what you can achieve and become. The real deal is that you cannot allow what others say or do to influence your decisions. You cannot allow others’ inconsistiences to shut you down. Most importantly, you can no longer struggle with self.
Trust what God has in store for you, and no longer worry about how you will get there. Remember that you are able and everything God says you are. You just have to be all you can be at all times, accept those defeats and celebrate your gains. Expect that something good is going to happen to you at every level — good, bad and indifferent, the highs the lows and the in-betweens, knowing who God is and who He says you can be. Go get it and be it. Seek it and want it. Feel it and move into it. Stop toiling with yourself because of the actions of others. Furthermore, don’t wrestle with your own actions, because sometimes self is the worst enemy of al and you do not want to be your own worst enemy.
God is great and glorious. He will continue to show you your way, as He continues to open doors, and at times, may close a door so that you can see and experience who you really are the same way He sees you. Be in tune to yourself — not others — allowing yourself to flourish and grow and experience the joy and peace found when your embrace what God has destined for you. Yeah, continue to prosper and grow into who God says you are. Until next time, take care… PEACE!
