The Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated recently awarded two scholarships totaling close to $100k to Cheyney University and Lincoln University.

The two 4-year scholarships will be granted to students majoring in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) as part of their 95th Anniversary Celebration.

A check was presented to Dr. Brenda A. Allen, president of Lincoln University, covering a full four-year tuition scholarship of over $53k for a female student majoring in science, technology, engineering or mathematics at Lincoln University.
The chapter also presented a check over $43k to Cheyney University President Aaron A. Walton, covering a four-year tuition scholarship for a female student majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
