CNBC will be searching for the next generation of business journalists through a workshop at this year’s NABJ/NAHJ Convention.
This free, invitation-only, interactive workshop is designed to educate aspiring journalists about the fundamental values of world-class business journalism and demonstrate the underlying strategies that define and differentiate CNBC in the marketplace.
But this isn’t just a workshop – it’s also an opportunity to get noticed by CNBC.
Three participants will be selected at the end of the workshop for an opportunity to interview at CNBC Global Headquarters for a CNBC Business News Associate position.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
A panel of top CNBC professionals describing their roles at the network and sharing the guiding principles and best practices that influence their work as business journalists , interviews with these professionals, and an interactive, breaking news simulation designed to teach the concepts, skills, and techniques CNBC professionals utilize daily to break down complex information about business, markets, and the economy
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Applicants must be current NABJ or NAHJ members that are early career journalists, and/or recent college graduates. Applicants must also be registered for the NABJ/NAHH convention (membership and registration subject to verification).
