Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver Jason Avant and State Representative Kenyatta Johnson joined Entrepreneur and Businesswoman Michelle Vann Thomas, owner of With This Ring Wedding Chapel (WTR), the first African-American owned wedding chapel in Philadelphia with the official opening of its new office on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony, took place at 1307 Vine Street. The ceremony was held between 6 PM and 9 PM.
Michelle Vann Thomas owner of With This Ring says, “Despite a down economy, I believed now is the perfect time to start my business.” With This Ring will provide matrimonial services to couples and families when employment, illness, or finances do not allow for the “Cinderella Wedding.” With this Ring offers families an alternative to a traditional church or Justice of the Peace ceremony.
