At 10:30AM on Tuesday morning, Kim Fields said hello to the latest addition to their family; a baby boy. Fields kind of stole the spotlight from Halle
Berry over the summer, who surprised many by announcing she was pregnant at the age of 47. Fields being 44 years old also proved that women are getting
pregnant and having babies beyond 40.
The former “Living Single” actress’ son weighed 8 lbs., 8 oz. at birth. “We are so blessed and grateful to God for this newest gift to our family,” said
Fields and her husband who say they have been trying to have a baby but had challenges with conceiving.
The couple also have a son together, who is 6 years old.
Over the summer, the actress revealed that she was looking forward to welcoming another bundle of joy while making an appearance on an episode of talk
show, “The Real.”
Fields smiled as she said,
“I have a big announcement. I’ve been in the lab, working both personally and professionally. One of the projects that I’ve been working on has been a
co-production with my husband Christopher and… tada!”
The actress showed the hosts and the audience her bump as she revealed the wonderful news. It’s great to see the couple finally welcome their son after
sharing that the road to getting pregnant was long and difficult. The couple has unfortunately had two miscarriages before.
Fields took to Twitter to share her joy with her fans and to let everyone know that her and her new baby were both doing well. Congratulations to the
