WURD Radio, LLC recently announced the release of its free mobile app for both iPhones and Androids that will allow listeners easy access to live on-air programming wherever they go!
With no fees and in less than one minute, the easy-to-use app downloads to cellular phones and mobile devices. With an option to submit the user’s postal code, there are no set-up steps required to listen to live streaming.
The interface is clean and simple to use unlike other radio apps that are full of ads and registration forms. The WURD App screen includes an icon to access the 900AM website, as well as an email icon that links directly to the phone user’s email system to send feedback or troubleshooting issues to the station’s business office.
The new WURD App, which was developed by Mainstream Network, enables 900AM to track its own analytics, adding more value and awareness to its worldwide listenership. With the recent launch of new programming, including new hosts Stephanie Renee and Nick Taliaferro, plus the Night Al show, the new app makes it easier to listen to the station on mobile devices across the entire broadcast day.
“The expansion of our ‘On Air, Online and In Community’ presence through the WURD App, broadens our reach so we can be heard as clearly in South Philly as South Africa,” said Sara Lomax-Reese, President and General Manager, WURD Radio, LLC. “Strengthening our digital assets and presence in the marketplace is an important component of our overall growth strategy,” she added.
The WURD App can be downloaded through mobile app store providers.
