As the new school year approaches, Health Partners Plans (HPP) hosted a family-friendly Night at the Philadelphia Zoo event to kick off this back-to-school season.

Free school supplies were handed out during the event to attendees as they explored the zoo, participated in raffles and scavenger hunts and more. More than 3,500 people were registered to attend.

Along the scavenger hunt route throughout the zoo, participants were able to stop and pick up notebooks, water bottles, crayons, pencils and other school supplies.

Having access to the right school supplies helps students feel prepared and confident in their ability to function in the classroom.
