The Office of Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown in partnership with the Urban Affairs Coalition has launched their 18th Annual Warmth in Winter Drive collecting new hats, gloves, mittens and scarves for children and teens in Philadelphia’s homeless shelters.

Now through November 26, donation bins will be available at 30 locations across the City for citizens to drop off new mittens, gloves, hats and scarves that will be donated to a child or teen in need.

On any given day, there are roughly 1500 children living in our City’s shelter system. In 2017, the Warmth in Winter Drive provided over 2000 sets to children across the City.
