Mobile fuel delivery service Gas It Up hosted a media day to highlight their Philadelphia launch. In the age of convenience, you no longer need to waste time at a gas station.

Gas It Up will bring the pump to you delivering fuel when you need it, where you need it at the touch of a button on your mobile device.

Given the state of COVID-19, Gas It Up services are clean and contactless, to offer a safe alternative to traditional gas stations.

“Gas It Up is a disruptive mobile-app based refueling company that is providing optimum productivity to government agencies, fleet owners, and consumers,” Gas It Up, Inc. chairman and CEO David P. Grigsby said. “Gas It Up is excited about our launch into the Philadelphia market where we will provide a service of convenience, competitive pricing, and the safety of contactless fueling to all of our customers.”

Gas It Up traveled to three Philadelphia locations throughout the day to provide fuel to essential workers and consumers, thanking them for the hard work they have done to keep people safe.

Their first stop was City Hall to announce their media day with Councilmember Derek Green and members of Philadelphia City Council.

“Safety and convenience have never been more important in our society, especially for our essential and frontline workers,” Green said. “That’s exactly what Gas It Up has provided for our citizens through this service, and I applaud them for their foresight and initiative in creating this concept.”

Their next stop was Chestnut Hill Hospital to host a second media event and provide fuel to essential health care workers.

“We are grateful to Gas It Up for recognizing the exceptional work performed by our clinical teams and all the frontline staff at Chestnut Hill Hospital who worked tirelessly during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic,” John Cacciamani, MD, president and CEO, Chestnut Hill Hospital-Tower Health, said. “Gas It Up is providing our physicians, nurses and staff an opportunity to try a new, efficient, and safe alternative to purchase gasoline. In health care we know the value of access, quality, and fast service. Gas It Up has identified similar values in the delivery of fuel for personal and commercial users. We’re happy to support a new service available in our community and wish them success.”

The company’s final destination was to Compare and Save Supermarket in the Northeast section of Philadelphia.

“We live in an age of on-demand efficiency. Everything we need comes to our location with a simple click, so why shouldn’t your fuel?” Gas It Up, Inc. founder and president Victor Rodriguez said. “Our goal is to help customers spend less time at the pump, stay healthy, and on the go.”

Gas It Up is currently available for essential workers, fleets, and select businesses. The company is looking to expand their services to the general public in the near future.

Founded in 2017 by Rodriguez, the refueling company is the first of its kind on the East Coast to deliver fuel to fleet, commercial, enterprise, and individual consumers. For more information, visit: www.gasitup.com
