Mercy Philadelphia Hospital is offering the following support groups, classes and activities to the community throughout April.

 

Annual Giving Campaign Kickoff Celebration

Cancer Support Group

Diabetes Support Group

Dine with the Docs – Empower Your Diet: Eating Better for Prevention

Dine with the Docs is an educational series providing the community with an opportunity to meet with Mercy Philadelphia Hospital physicians and other clinical experts. Fit and Quit – Smoking Cessation Support Group

Fourth Thursday of each month

Quit Smoking Comfortably

Mercy Philadelphia Hospital – Community Outreach Center, 5320-22 Cedar Avenue – 5:30 p.m.

Tuesdays for 6 weeks 4/6, 4/13, 4/20. This second-half of a 6-week smoking cessation program requires pre-registration. Call (215) 748-9600 for more information.

 

Stroke Support Group

Mercy Philadelphia Hospital – Room 133, 501 South 54th Street – 2:00 p.m.

First Thursday/Monthly 4/1. This program is designed for those who have had a stroke or “mini” stroke (TIA) and their caregivers.
