Philadelphia says goodbye to Jerry

On Wednesday,  family, friends, colleagues and the SUN family of Jerry Mondesire celebrated his life and work at a beautiful memorial service at Bright Hope Baptist Church.

Among those sharing their memories of Jerry were Mayor Michael Nutter, City Councilwoman Marian Tasco, News and Comm. Affairs Dir. for iHeart Media Loraine Ballard Morrill, the Honorable Edward Rendell, D.A. R. Seth Williams, Jerry’s son Joseph Mondesire, Cong. Bob Brady (D-PA) and Sheriff Jewell Williams.

It would have also been Jerry’s 66th birthday and Happy Birthday was sung to his spirit and memory.
