Woman killled in Southwest Philadelphia, innocent bystander caught in gun crossfire

Philadelphia:

6abc reports that a 34-year-old woman who was shot on Thursday evening in Southwest Philadelphia has died from her injuries.

Police say she may have been caught in the crossfire and not the intended target.

The woman was shot in the chest in the gunfire that erupted around 9 p.m. in the 7000 block of Wheeler Street.

 

The woman’s name has not been released yet
