Two-mile walk will feature performances by local entertainers, Diversity Expo, kids’ zone, food truck and headline performance by Philadelphia’s own Yazz The Greatest (Empire)
The Anti-Defamation League, the nation’s premier civil rights and human relations agency, will be holding the 2016 Walk Against Hate; Sunday, May 15 at 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, at The Marine Parade Grounds at the Philadelphia Navy Yard
This year’s fundraising walk will celebrate diversity and equal rights for all. The event will feature performances by a variety of local entertainers as well as a headline performance by hip-hop artist and television star, Yazz The Great. The Walk will also include a Diversity Expo that highlights groups from different backgrounds and an expression area for children. Event attendees will be able to enjoy snacks from local food trucks. Mayor Kenney will be on hand to kick-off the official start of the Walk.
