First World Theatre Ensemble announces its re-emergence inaugural 2010-2011 season as it explores the depths and layers of how the inner strength, weaknesses, and demons of women outwardly manifest in their lives, beginning with “Ladies In Waiting”
In classic First World style, its inaugural 2010/2011 season is powerful, incites the spirit, and moves you to change while showcasing new works, new talent, and new relationships. Taking place in America between the 1940s and the 1960s, FWTE’s “All About Eve” season features three plays about women, ‘Ladies in Waiting,’ now playing until Oct. 10; ‘Travesty of Justice,’ and ‘That Honeysuckle Summer,’ will have world premieres beginning Spring 2011. Founder and Producing Artistic Director, Zuhairah McGill, has selected some of the Delaware Valley’s most experienced and knowledgeable directors: Larry Moses, Stephen Blumenthal, and Deb Braak. “All About Eve” explores the depths and layers of how the inner strength, weaknesses, and demons of women manifest outwardly in their lives.
