NEW YORK– If you can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen! In this case, the kitchen is the “judgment free” stage of the Allen Theater in Cleveland, where funnyman Kevin Hart mixes his sassy charm with several dashes of brutal honesty in the World Television Premiere of his one-hour stand-up special, “Kevin Hart: Seriously Funny,” debuting on Comedy Central on Sunday, July 11 at 10:00 PM ET/PT.

Combine growing up in Philadelphia, being a husband and father of two in possession of a Y chromosome and what do you get? Outrageous childhood memories and a firm set of opinions that Hart doesn’t beat around the bush sharing in this World Television Premiere special. In front of a sold-out audience which included Shaquille O’Neil and Lebron James, Hart covers family matters, his biggest fears as a parent, the do’s and don’ts of relationships and what men really do when their gal takes a girls’ night out.

“Kevin Hart: Serious Funny” will be released on DVD through Codeblack Entertainment and on CD by Comedy Central Records. Both will be released on July 20. Both the DVD and the CD are uncensored versions of Hart’s television special containing extra material.

In support of “Kevin Hart: Seriously Funny” special, Jokes.com will have previews and highlights of the special as well as an exclusive collection of Hart’s past Comedy Central hits.

Kevin Hart has burst onto the scene as one of the most versatile comedy actors in film and television. After a knock-out performance on amateur night at a Philadelphia comedy club, Hart quit his job as a shoe salesman to make a career from his sense of humor. Since then, his success has been inevitable. He began doing stand-up at various clubs in Boston, New York and Los Angeles which eventually lead to his extremely memorable first performance at the Montreal “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival. By this time, Hart was on the map and appearing in films such as Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3 and Along Came Polly.

In January 2009, Hart premiered his new one-hour comedy special “I’m a Grown Little Man” on Comedy Central He has most recently been seen in Death at a Funeral, a remake of the 2007 British movie of the same name, along with Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan and Martin Lawrence. He also co-starred with Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson in Fool’s Gold, as well as opposite Steve Carell in The 40 Year Old Virgin.

His biggest break came when he landed the lead in MGM’s Soul Plane opposite Tom Arnold, Method Man and Snoop Dogg. Hart’s recent film credits include Not Easily Broken, Extreme Movie, Drillbit Taylor, Epic Movie, The Last Stand, Scary Movie 4 and In the Mix.

Previously, Hart was seen on the big screen in the FOX comedy Meet Dave opposite Eddie Murphy and in Dimension Film’s action comedy spoof Superhero Movie opposite Tracy Morgan and Regina Hall. Also, he’ll soon be seen in the Meet the Fockers sequel set to be released December 2010.
