“Love from Philly — the first ever virtual music and arts festival in the City — is donating 100% of its proceeds to the musicians and music venue workers that make up the core of the Philly Music scene. The event is being streamed online from May 1-3 at: www.lovefromphilly.live.
The festival was created to bring help, hope, inspiration, resources and love to Philly’s music community.
It will showcase Philadelphia’s unique culture and promote public donations for the unparalleled talent who build memorable moments for patrons in the city and from around the world.
The festival proceeds will benefit Thirty Amp Circuit’s grants for Philly musicians, and music venue workers. Equally important, the event will provide a platform allowing local artists to be seen and heard in a moment when it’s needed most.
It is hoped that Love From Philly will always be remembered as Philadelphia’s response to the care and well-being of entertainment and arts professionals during a time where social and economic continuity was halted.
