The Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts kicks off the holiday season with a festive performance from Grammy® award-winning jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves. Hailed by the Chicago Tribune as “one of the most accomplished female vocalists working today,” Reeves will use her powerhouse vocals and beloved jazz style to take on classic holiday songs.

This performance will take place on Saturday, December 1 at 8 PM. Tickets are $20-$70 (prices are subject to change). For tickets or for more information, please visit AnnenbergCenter.org or call 215.898.3900. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Annenberg Center Box Office.

Reeves’ lively performance will feature jazz renditions of holiday favorites such as “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” and “Let It Snow” from Reeves’ first holiday album, Christmas Time Is Here. Critic Ben Ratliff of The New York Times raved, “Ms. Reeves, a jazz singer of frequently astonishing skill, takes the assignment seriously; this is one of the best Christmas CD’s I’ve heard.”

A four-time Grammy® winner for Best Jazz Vocal Album, Reeves brings over two decades of performing and recording experience to this return engagement at the Annenberg Center. She has recorded with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and has performed numerous times with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Praised by The New York Times as “one of the greatest living jazz singers,” Reeves was also the first singer to perform at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

Over the span of her music career, Reeves has released a total of 13 solo albums. She was also the lead vocalist on the soundtrack recording for George Clooney’s acclaimed 2005 film Good Night, and Good Luck.
