Scrapple, chicken-n-waffles, fluffy pancakes, salmon cake and grits, whiting, steak and eggs, fresh baked cakes and lots more—all cooked fresh from scratch. Hungry yet?
The popular Breakfast Boutique opened a new location in Mt. Airy at 6833 Germantown Avenue offering both a full-scale sit-down restaurant and an adjacent take-out café.
The new location was flowing with customers including Councilwoman Cindy Bass who stopped by to congratulate owners Desiree and Rob Pollard.
“We’re expanding,” said co-owner Rob of the newest location.
Desiree and Rob also have another Breakfast Boutique restaurant further up the road in Chestnut Hill.
The Mt. Airy location, however, offers two different experiences. One entrance is for the Boutique’s sit-down restaurant. Next door is the boutique’s entrance to their café for customers who wish to order take out, or grab coffee, beverages and pastries on the go.
The ability to offer customers a broader experience was one of the reasons Desiree and Rob opened the new Mt. Airy location.
On the café side, customers can commemorate the experience of their visit by taking a pic at the boutique’s selfie wall. The site of fresh baked cakes and muffins catch your eye when entering the café.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, customers will see the glass window front that makes for a beautiful sight on the 6800 block of Germantown Avenue. In addition to the superior customer service, the natural sunlight and outdoor view add to the ambiance of the dine-in experience.
“We saw the opportunity for our customers to have two places, one for eat-in and one for to-go,” said Robert as to why they opened the additional location.
There is nothing better than sitting in a beautiful relaxed sit-down restaurant while being served homestyle food that “sticks to your ribs” as older folks say.
The Breakfast Boutique is unique. Treat yourself.
