Radio One Philadelphia announced the official lineup of it’s 3rd Annual Music and Entertainment Conference scheduled for Sunday May 23, 2010 starting at 12 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

The Music Conference features some of the biggest names in entertainment across six workshops covering Hip-Hop, Fashion, R&B, Inspiration, the Business of Music, and a special Listen and Critique Panel.

A few of the celebrities and industry professionals to be featured in these workshops include: Jermaine Dupri, Stephanie Mills, Michael Bivins, Ginuwine, Yolanda Adams, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Jazmine Sullivan, Omarion, Marques Houston, Cassidy, Meek Mill, 9th Wonder, Hezekiah Walker, Vickie Winans, Fashion professionals Jerris Madison, Kristian Sorge, and Record Label Executives, Larry Khan, Marc Byers, and Shadow Stokes to name a few.

The Conference gives aspiring singers, musicians, executives, and producers an up-close and personal experience with some of the leading stars in entertainment, music, and fashion. The dialogue between those who dream and those living the dream is informative, entertaining and inspiring.

In addition to the educational substance provided at the conference, 2 single record deals will be awarded. One lucky person from the Inspiration Workshop will walk away with a single deal written and produced by Gospel Star, James Fortune and another person from the Listen & Critique will walk away with a Digital Record Deal from E1 Entertainment.

According to Radio One Operations Manager, Elroy Smith, “For aspiring artists who dream to be in the entertainment industry, they often have to search outside of Philadelphia for information or connections, so Radio One is bringing the entertainment industry to them. This event gives the public access to stars they typically could not reach and our hope is that when the listeners leave this event they will have a better understanding on what they need to do to take their career to the next level.”

100.3 the BEAT’s Program Director, Boogie D, says, “Someone’s dream is going to come true on May 23rd, and if you aren’t chosen for the record deal you will leave with the tools to make your dream come true yourself.”
