Art Sanctuary wrapped up their Annual Celebration of Black Writing last weekend. The two-week celebration, which began May 21st, included daily workshops, panel discussions and other opportunities to celebrate the art of Black writing.

The celebration wrapped up on Saturday June 2nd with a street festival at the 13th and Cecil B. Moore Ave. This day-long event included workshops and storytelling for children, cooking demonstrations, dance and street drumming lesson, vendors and performances.
