Streets Department schedules work on Center City streets

Temporary closures from Thursday, May 28 to Friday, May 29

The intersection of 7th & Locust Streets (at Washington Square) will be closed temporarily from 4PM, Thursday, May 28 to 4PM, Friday, May 29 to perform roadway repairs.  These repairs are being made as a result of roadway defects that occurred over the winter, Streets Commissioner David J. Perri announced today.  Motorists are encouraged to use 5th or 9th Streets.  The intersection will be re-opened if the work is completed sooner.  No detour will be posted.  The Streets Department will be coordinating with SEPTA on this detour.

There will be intermittent closures affecting the following streets:

300 N. 2nd Street

200 N. 3rd Street

Unit block of S. 3rd Street

200 S. 3rd Street & Thomas Paine

300 N. 5th Street

400 S. 6th Street

Unit block of S. 7th Street

Unit block of N. 9th Street

Unit block of S. 12th Street

100 S. 13th Street

Unit block of Bank Street

200 N. Camac Street

200 N. Clarion Street

300 S. Columbus Boulevard

(Southbound)

200 Dock Street

300 Florist Street

300 S. Front Street

400 & 700 Locust Street

1300 Manning Street

200, 300, 1100 & 1200 Market Street

200 Marvine Street

1000 & 1200 Pearl Street

900 – 1000 Pine Street

300 N. Randolph Street

1000 & 1300 Spruce Street
