On Friday, July 17, 2015 The FLOW will host a fundraising opportunity for Philadelphia OIC from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at TGI Friday’s Center City, 1776 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Guest DJ – mayoral candidate and former councilman Jim Kenney selected Philadelphia OIC as the organization he wanted to support. The FLOW is a group consisting of professional influencers who live in and around the City of Philadelphia. The group is passionate about non-profit organizations that want to make a difference. The FLOW, which began over eight years ago, has had a variety of happy hour events all across Center City Philadelphia raising money for non-profit organizations. The FLOW takes place every year from the end of April through October.
The FLOW’s “Guest DJ” is usually selected from or by the organization being supported. Once the Guest DJ is selected we then ask them to submit a music playlist and “Spin for a Cause.” Each person who comes to our event donates a minimum of $10.00. A donation to the organization gives people the opportunity to access a live DJ, food and drink specials from 5:30PM to 8:30PM, and outdoor rooftop access where people then begin to network and learn more about the featured organization.
