The Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention today announced that it has selected Impact Dimensions, LLC to be its official merchandise provider and manager. Impact Dimensions is an experienced, local Certified Hispanic Minority Business Enterprise, offering merchandising solutions to corporate companies, nonprofits and small businesses, sourcing materials from union shops whenever possible.

Impact Dimensions will be responsible for manufacturing, marketing, selling and fulfilling orders for a variety of Host Committee merchandise and promotional materials. Such materials will depict the Host Committee’s official, trademarked logo and will be available for purchase by residents, delegates, media and visitors at online stores and physical locations in Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention this July.

“Impact Dimension’s proven record handling large-scale projects make this a great partnership to offer Host Committee merchandise, which will serve as mementos from this summer’s historic event,” said Kevin Washo, Executive Director of the Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee. “Since day one, we have been committed to working with diverse, local companies to help us put on the Convention, and I’m thrilled Impact Dimensions will help us provide keepsakes to Philadelphians and Convention visitors alike.”

“We are extremely honored to be selected as the official merchandise vendor,” said Luis Liceaga, President of Impact Dimensions, LLC. “As an established minority-owned Philadelphia company, we look forward to working with many of our diverse vendors, Pennsylvania and Made in USA suppliers.”

Philadelphia-based Impact Dimensions has been in business for 15 years and is owned by President Luis Liceaga and Chief Operating Officer Norbert McGettigan, Jr. The company was recognized as the 2015 Supplier of the Year, Class II, at the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council’s 2015 Annual Choice Awards Gala, the second time in a three-year period that the company received such an award. Class II represents suppliers with annual sales between $1 million and $10 million.

The selection of Impact Dimensions was made following a merchandise Request for Proposals process, which began in December.

As the Host Committee’s official merchandise firm, Impact Dimensions will be responsible for quality assurance, sales, inventory, and royalty of all merchandise products. Many merchandise needs will require the recruitment and management of a number of merchandise vendors.

The Host Committee’s agreement with Impact Dimensions will be in effect through the end of September 2016, allowing Host Committee merchandise and promotional materials to continue to be sold during the weeks immediately following the Convention.

The Democratic National Convention will take place July 25-28, 2016 in Philadelphia.
